Late Shri Dr M Shripad Rao , the founder started organising and promoting Hindusthani music by giving a platform to various artists at ” Bana Sundari ” way back in 1980s… This heritage is still continuing as a center of excellence for cultural activities at the same place under the banner of ” JYOTHISHRI KALA KENDRA ” at Kasaragod.
